Elder Leroy Goodman is our Pastor here at First Missionary Baptist Church. He was born on March 5, 1982 in Inverness, Florida to Donald and Donna Goodman. Raised in a Baptist home, He was exposed to the gospel all of his life and at the age of 6 accepted Christ as his personal Saviour. In 1996, while attending Church youth camp, He surrendered to the call to preach the gospel. After high school, he attended Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida and then Landmark Baptist College in Haines City, Florida.
His previous ministry experience consists of Associate Pastor of the Cleveland Heights Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida and Pastor of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. He was ordained into the Gospel Ministry by the authority of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on October 25, 2008.
He is married to his high school sweetheart Sandy Goodman. They have three children, Adam (8) and Dixie (7), and Savanna (born 4-28-10).
His life verse is Psalm 118:14 "The Lord is my strength and song, and has become my salvation".
